Maintenance and upkeep of high-pressure plunger pump in LNG refueling station

1. When inspecting or repairing the plunger pump, be sure to cut off the power supply, otherwise there is a possibility of electric shock or accidental injury!

After the transmission box runs in (after 20 hours of use), the lubricating oil should be replaced once; The refueling amount is generally around 14L, and the specific position should be based on the center of the oil level mirror.

Regularly replace the lubricating oil, with a general replacement cycle of three months (1500 hours). If the daily use time exceeds 8 hours, the oil replacement cycle should be shortened (recommended to be one month) for replacement;

Regularly check the oil level mirror to ensure that there is sufficient lubricating oil in the transmission box, especially if there has been oil leakage in the transmission box;

Regularly inspect the triangular belt for looseness or severe wear. If there is any, tighten the belt or replace it with a triangular belt of the same specification; (Purchase according to the model on the triangular belt or purchase from our company).

The lubricating oil grade used in this pump is: Great Wall L-HM68 # for ambient temperature ≥ -10 ℃, L-HV46 # for temperature ≥ -30 ℃, L-HS46 # for temperature ≥ -40 ℃, or other equivalent performance oil.

Keep the cold end (pump head) area free from oil stains. If accidentally contaminated with oil stains, use a degreasing solvent such as carbon tetrachloride to clean or wipe clean;

Keep the inside of the cold end dry (refer to the pump shutdown section in the operation section). If it is confirmed that water has entered the inside of the cold end, the front cover of the pump should be opened at room temperature and the pump chamber should be dried as appropriate. In severe cases, the inside of the pump head should be disassembled and dried;

Always keep the pump sealing box in a good sealing condition, and generally observe the frost formation on the neck of the pump body. It is recommended to have a frost formation area less than half of the neck. When the frosting area has reached the connecting flange or the exposed part of the piston rod has also frosted, it indicates that the sealing packing is close to leakage. It is recommended to use the provided wrench to moderately tighten the slotted nut in a timely manner when the pump head returns to temperature. Generally, it is advisable to turn the slotted nut 1-2 teeth each time. When there is no room for tightening the slotted nut and there is air or liquid leakage, the sealing packing should be replaced.

It is recommended to carry out packing compaction work when parking and the cold end returns to normal temperature. Practice has shown that the packing compaction effect is not good under cold or working conditions.

It is recommended to timely compress the sealing packing before the pump sealing box leaks. Practice has shown that compressing the packing after the sealing box leaks will affect the service life of the packing.

It is recommended to regularly clean the impurities inside the inlet and outlet check valves of the pump head to avoid affecting the use effect.
